At Layton Chapel Baptist Church, we see global missions as an extension of the same mission we have in our own local community: to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Mark 16:15 – “[Jesus] said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

Romans 1:16 – “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth…”

We spread the Gospel here in our community through our church outreach and our ministries, but we also support many missionaries and mission projects around the world through faith promise giving. Our goal is to continue to send Gospel-preaching, church-planting missionaries to the uttermost parts of the earth.

The map below highlights some of the areas of the world where we are supporting missions work. Because some of our missionaries serve in areas where there is persecution and danger, we have omitted most of the individual names to protect them and their families.

In addition to numerous church planting efforts (both in the US and around the world), we also support the following Missions projects or organizations (which can also be found on our map):

1 Christian camp/retreat center

3 Rescue/rehab ministries

2 Childrens’ homes/schools for troubled kids/youth

4 Bible and literature printing ministries

2 Prison ministries

2 Christian colleges/universities

The Christian Law Association

1 College campus outreach ministry
